
The Helping Professionals series is a continuing education program sponsored by Palmetto Behavioral Health every first Friday of the month from 8:30am-10:30am, unless otherwise noted. Presenter: Dr. Sarah Moore
Program Description: Dr. Sarah Moore will discuss chronic pain and/or chronic illness and depression, the prevalence of each, co-morbidity and possible effects of one on the other as well as on the patient as a whole. She will discuss the importance of ensuring that attention is paid to one diagnosis or problem. Dr. Moore will also provide information on several effective approaches to dealing with chronic illness and chronic pain as well as resources for each.
Dr. Sarah Moore is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri and is proud to join her husband in calling the Lowcountry "home". Dr. Moore is very active in upper cervical continuing education and recently opened Upper Cervical Health Centers to serve the Greater Charleston area. Upper cervical care focuses on the top two bones in the spine, where the lower portion of the brainstem is located, in order to balance the body both structurally and neurologically to allow the body to heal and function optimally. Dr. Moore's mission is to provide the highest quality corrective and preventive health care naturally, enabling healthier and happier lives for individuals and families.
